“FORNIA”
2018 — 2021

FORNIA is a collection of photographs I have taken exclusively on my phone during my four-year residence in the state of California. When confronted with situations that I wanted to record, many times I found that my phone was the only tool I had to capture the moment, (Or risk losing it forever) Before I knew it. I had four years of meaningful photos that I cared about and wanted to share, but had no clue where they could live beyond the data on my phone.

The collection of images felt too important to simply allow them to live in singularity on social media. This gathering of photographs now turned into a printed form aims to reverse the normalcy of these behaviors, by illustrating an archive of memories through a look into my personal perception of life in CALI.
